WELCOME LETTER FROM THE CHANCELLOR AND FOUNDER
Apostle Prof. Dr. Ezra Aniebue, and Dr. Soul Aniebue
Greetings Your Majesties in the Mighty Name of Jesus Christ, the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords!
ATRC welcomes you to Sophía (Σοφία): Divine Wisdom and the Throne of Christ-Centered Leadership
Our Foundational Scripture:
“By me kings reign, and rulers decree what is just; by me princes rule, and nobles—all who govern justly.”
Proverbs 8:15–16 (ESV)
Leadership among traditional rulers, kings, and queens is more than a cultural inheritance or sociopolitical office—it is a Divine Call from God for sacred stewardship. According to Proverbs 8, it is through Wisdom that kings reign and rulers govern with justice. The Greek term for this divine wisdom is sophía (σοφία), and it carries not only the idea of intellectual insight, but also spiritual discernment, moral clarity, and heavenly counsel.
In the Septuagint, sophía is personified in Proverbs 8 as the preexistent agent through whom just governance is made possible. This personification reaches its fullness in the New Testament, where sophía is revealed as none other than Jesus Christ Himself.
Jesus Christ is the Incarnate Wisdom of God
“But to those who are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God and the wisdom of God.”
1 Corinthians 1:24
Jesus Christ is not merely wise; He is Wisdom embodied. The same Wisdom that speaks in Proverbs 8 is the eternal Logos (Λόγος) who was with God and is God (John 1:1). Therefore, when Proverbs declares, “By me kings reign,” it speaks ultimately of Christ as the divine enabler and legitimizer of righteous rulership.
To reign apart from Christ is to rule by flesh and fail by folly. But to reign in Christ and through Christ is to establish a kingdom that mirrors the righteous throne of God (Psalm 89:14).
The word sophía invites monarchs, traditional rulers, and royal authorities to submit their thrones under the Lordship of Jesus Christ because all thrones belong to Jesus Christ. Leadership without sophía is shallow. Governance without Christ is dangerous. True royal leadership requires:
Heavenly Wisdom (σοφία τοῦ θεοῦ), discernment that transcends culture, politics, and tribal loyalties.
Justice (mishpat, מִשְׁפָּט), the execution of godly laws without partiality.
Righteousness (tsedaqah, צֶדֶק), living in alignment with the heart of God.
These virtues are not innate to human leadership, they are imparted by divine grace when leaders bow their crowns before the Lamb (Revelation 4:10).
In this age, the role of traditional rulers, kings, and queens remains vital to the preservation of culture and moral order. However, without sophía, there is no compass for justice; without Christ, there is no legitimacy in rulership. Let every ruler say with King David:
“Yours, O Lord, is the greatness and the power and the glory and the victory and the majesty… Yours is the kingdom, O Lord, and You are exalted as head above all.” 1 Chronicles 29:11
We welcome you and are committed to serving and equipping you to bring Christocentric leadership to your thrones and communities.
